Now sure, you may say: wait a minute, I want an actual house, not some metal monstrosity. Well, there are condos for around $150,000. Then, for a simple, basic home – again, not near the water – a small three bedroom, two bath can cost from $150,000 to $200,000. A good place to find Long Beach homes for sale at reasonable prices is in some of their new residential developments.
Finally, consider this: right now, the housing market is very depressed across the United States. Homes that last year, or even a few months ago, were getting a million, are now available in the $600,000 to $700,000 range. Yes, still expensive, but a far better deal than before.
